The online news source, NJ.com, reports that a man who owed thousands of dollars in child support was tracked down recently. The 32 year-old, named Demetrius Robinson, was caught by Detectives Joseph Cammisa, Brian Weitzman and Sgt. Ralph Garcia in the afternoon on May 12.
Robinson was wanted on a warrant for owing over $17,000 in child support. Once he saw the officers, he began running away toward Hamilton Avenue. He ended up surrendering in that area and taken into custody. The total charges include the child support warrant, a Bergen County drug court warrant and resisting arrest by flight.
