Anaheim Man Flees Police After Discovery of Gruesome Apartment Scene

Kwame Carpenter was taken into custody in connection with the death of his infant son and the son’s mother. Carpenter was in Fountain Valley, California when police chased the 24-year-old after someone identified him at a hospital. Officers approached Carpenter’s care initially to take him into custody, but Carpenter refused and led the officers on a chase. After damaging several cars during the chase, he crashed his vehicle into a pond. He is a suspect after authorities went to his apartment and found a young woman dead and her baby with injuries that led to his death later in a local hospital. Carpenter is the main suspect in this case.
