Footage Shows Woman Abusing Daycare Children

Christina Williamson was running her own daycare out of her home in Pleasant Hill, Iowa when a video showing abusive behavior was given to police. The Des Moines Register reported that the 28 year old woman had not gone through the proper certification process to have a daycare. At the time the video was recorded, there were at least 3 children at her house, and one was an infant. The images show that Williamson was participating in "child endangerment causing serious injury and substantial risk and willful injury causing bodily injury." She was taken to the Polk County Jail on these charges last Wednesday.

Actress Granted Custody of Two Children

Newsday reported on May 25, that actress Kelly Rutherford has recently found out that California ruled she will be able to regain custody of children she had with her ex-husband, Daniel Giersch. Giersch lives in Monaco with the 5 and 8 year-old since August of 2012. The father lost his visa earlier that year during a criminal investigation, and the children were ordered to live with him abroad since he couldn't travel to the United States. According to the Los Angeles Superior Court, Monaco has no jurisdiction in this matter. Rutherford hopes that Monaco officials realize this is the right thing to do and sends the children home to her. The mother is excited not only for the children to be back with her, but in their home country also.
